LUXOLOGIST LURE:
A “glamping” experience in Australia close to the beach with the whitest sand in the world? Who could ignore this feature?
GUEST EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS:
Focus on comfort – it doesn’t feel like you’re camping, so don’t worry. We’re talking a quality Queen bed and mattress, luxury cotton linen and towels, bathrobes, a bathroom with a bathtub en suite and, of course, hot water)
§ The gastronomy was truly exceptional. The breakfast buffet, for example included: poached pears infused with cinnamon and cloves, rhubarb compote, yoghurt, a fresh selection of fruit and Paperbark’s mouthwatering, pecan, date and coconut muesli mix. Then there’s also savoury pancake with chorizo sausages, a poached egg and diced avocado and tomato, all presented with the elegance and flair. It’s really, really good. Above traditional five star restaurant standard. Our dinner choice was: duck breast, marinated in apricot pureé and served on a bed of cous cous. A poached quince crumble followed, with ginger, cinnamon and clove flavours, accompanied by a generous scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream.
§ Bikes and canoes available for guests
§ Electric-powered buggy transport around the camp
§ Waking up to a family of kangaroos. This doesn’t always happen, but it happened to us and they’re usually around.
